the80sareforever: The E9 was a purchase that was intended to replace the 6er I have regretted selling since day one. I can say it has definitely done that, quickly earning a spot on the list of cars I might just have to keep forever. One of the best-known photos of my E24 was taken just down the road from here. I thought it’d be fun to go back and re-try the shot. I didn’t take the original with me to base the new shot off of, but it came out pretty close. I couldn’t remember how I edited the old photo so I tried to replicate it in the new one. It’s close, but not perfect. I’m thrilled to see the cars side by side like this. You can really see where the E24 got its lines. Both beautiful. Someday I’ll have another E24… but the E9 is a worthy replacement.
